DRAMA IS ABOUT ACQUIRING TRANSFERABLE SKILLS FOR LIFE...

Anchor Child is a Project in active development based on research conducted in front line Greek communities of Samos and Patmos close to the shores of the gateway and transit nation of Turkey. The project is being developed with communities in UK, Greece and Africa providing workshops and participation both for local groups and those of all ages interested in a ‘gap year’ volunteer capacity. Past performances of Anchor Child for National Refugee Week have taken place in collaboration with Nuffield Theatre and Southampton Solent University.

Performance & Culture

Drama exists as means of intercultural communication that can serve to illuminate global issues creating important dialogue and awareness of humanitarian concerns. Through devising and performance individuals can share and exchange points of cultural reference actively.
